You must have proven experience in a Transport & Logistics business as a supervisor and / or allocator.

Position:

We have an opportunity for a Transport Supervisor with solid experience managing a small team of allocators along with both interstate and local drivers to join our Road Freight Operations team. The successful applicant will have the passion to work with a team of likeminded and energetic staff.

As part of a busy and progressive transport company, you will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries for any given day are allocated and completed correctly. You will have a thorough understanding if CoR principles including strong Fatigue Management understanding. This role is predominantly Monday – Friday with the occasional Saturday during leave coverage.

Duties:

·       Managing staff that are allocating runs for 40 + drivers and vehicles

·       Ensuring driver runs are efficiently structured

·       Ability to cover allocating Local & Interstate loads during staff leave

·       Liaising with customers

·       Monitoring driver performance and on-time performance

·       Communicating expectations to drivers

·       Compliance with all relevant legal requirement

·       Strong Fatigue management strategies

·       A strong mix of achievement focus and relationship building

·       Professional manner

·       Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation

·       Strong computer literacy
