About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a range of light and heavy vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in petrol and diesel vehicles and machinery
  • Conduct regular servicing, preventative maintenance, and safety inspections
  • Test and adjust mechanical parts using diagnostic equipment
  • Replace or repair worn and defective components
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with company and safety standards
  • Liaise with supervisors and operators to identify and address vehicle or equipment concerns

Skills & Experience:

  • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification) is preferred
  • Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A current driver's licence (HR or higher class desirable)
  • Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
