Plastic Surgery Rooms Nurse

Location: Toorak, Melbourne | Full-time, On-site

This is an outstanding professional opportunity to work at Chris Moss Plastic Surgery.

Dr Chris Moss, who specialises in surgery of the face and nose, is looking for a Nurse with private practice rooms experience who is passionate about patient care and committed to delivering exceptional service to join his dedicated and dynamic in-rooms team.

His private purpose built rooms in Toorak are complemented by the adjacent Liberty Belle Skin Centre, which provides a comprehensive range of non-surgical, modern aesthetic treatments and technologies. This means our patients have access to world's best practice treatments in both surgical and non-surgical options.

Working as part of the friendly and enthusiastic team, you will be involved in educating and supporting patients throughout their surgical journey. In this role you will be there for patients every step of the way - from educating and preparing them before surgery to supporting their recovery afterwards. Your compassion, organisation and warmth will help make their journey a positive one.

We're looking for a nurse with experience working in a private practice (preferably with a surgeon) or surgical setting. You will have great communication skills, a positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine passion for patient care.

The Position

  • Full-time position

Duties

You will be required to:

  • Educate patients about the procedures offered by Dr Moss and Liberty Belle Skin Centre
  • Provide guidance and reassurance to ensure each patient's journey is a positive and supportive experience
  • Provide comprehensive pre-, intra- and post-operative education and support for surgical and non-surgical patients
  • Provide post-operative care and review of patients
  • Assist with phone enquiries, and administration as required.

Location

Purpose built facilities and beautifully appointed rooms close to Toorak Village.

Successful Applicant

The successful applicant needs:

  • AHPRA Nurse qualification (RN preferred)
  • Experience working in a private (ideally surgical) practice or surgical setting
  • A friendly, confident and caring personality
  • Strong commitment to achieving excellence in all aspects of patient care
  • Professional presentation
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Attention to detail and to take pride in their work
  • To be able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of plastic surgery and/or non-surgical cosmetic treatment is an advantage.
