Your Opportunity:
- This role will work as a Senior Pharmacist member of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality pharmaceutical care and services to consumers within the Fraser Coast region. The Pharmacy Department delivers professional, client focussed pharmacy services and leadership within an evidence-based quality care environment.
- This role will also promote safe, effective and efficient use of medicines in keeping with the department's goals, objectives and mission statement of the WBHHS.
- As a member of the Pharmacy team, this role will be required to work at Maryborough and Hervey Bay Hospitals and may be required to attend the Maryborough Correctional Facility. The position is required to actively participate in the Pharmacy Department rotational roster system including 24-hour emergency clinical on-call, public holiday and weekend roster.

- Clinical:
Demonstrated high level of clinical knowledge and skill and ability to apply established principles to clinical care. - Communication:
Ability to work effectively and contribute positively in a health care team, through the use of high level communication and interpersonal skills to deliver quality pharmaceutical care. - Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision and education to less experienced clinicians, preregistration pharmacists and students, and provide guidance to support staff. Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate local service improvement initiatives and provide clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors regarding service delivery and improvement opportunities. - Values:
Demonstrates the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service values in clinical and profession practice through lived experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as a Pharmacist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $157,359 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
