Direct Hire is a well-known family-owned business that provides equipment hire solutions to the building and constructions industry, with multiple branches strategically located to support the QLD South-East region over the past 36 years.

The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Driver / Yard Hand to assist with servicing or machinery, clean, delivery and collection of small hire plant and equipment, as well as supporting the  branch operations at our Tugun location by providing our customers with outstanding service, safely loading and unloading, and on-site services when needed.

You will form part of a growing team who will support you with ongoing training with an opportunity of a career development, whilst enjoying a fun and secured place to work.

About You

You will be in charge of representing and showcasing Direct Hire excellent service, with expert advice whilst at the branch and on-site whilst maintaining high standards of equipment quality through servicing, positive attitude and safety approach to your everyday tasks.

To be successful for this position, the following are preferable:

  • Construction White Card (Essential)
  • Current C-Class Manual Drivers License (Essential)
  • MR Truck License (Desirable but not essential)
  • Forklift License (Desirable but not essential)
  • Basic Scaffold License (Desirable but not essential)
  • Team worker and willing to learn on the job
  • Punctual with professional and safety conscious
