About the opportunity
COLT Officers are responsible for assisting in the acceptance, checking and processing of customer lodgements across their assigned Australia Post facilities. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with revenue protection, lodgement quality and operational standards while supporting the national COLT in its objectives.
You'll be
- Performing customer acceptance checks to ensure compliance with revenue and lodgement standards
- Supporting COLT Coordinators in executing operational processes and quality assurance tasks
- Accurately documenting non-conformance issues and escalating them where necessary
- Aiding in revenue protection measures, ensuring customers are charged correctly
- Adhering to safety standards and contributing to a secure work environment
- Roving between assigned sites based on relief needs and/or risk
About you
- You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously
- You're motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community
- You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
- Experience operating manual pallet jacks or stackers is advantageous but not mandatory
