Reliable & Experienced Truck Driver Wanted – Tyre Delivery, Kewdale

About Us

Black Rubber is a leading tyre supply & service organisation focused on the provision of efficient & safe tyre management services catering for the transport, industrial, mining & resource industries as well as the passenger car market.

Black Rubber Kewdale is under new management and looking to expand our team. This is an exciting time to join us as we grow and build a supportive, dynamic workplace culture.

Roles/responsibilities

  • Safely operate and drive company trucks to transport tyres to designated locations, ensuring full compliance with state traffic laws & regulations.
  • Load and unload tyres with the assistance of the workshop team, ensuring proper handling and securing of the cargo.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, mileage, and any incidents that may occur.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team, Service Coordinator, clients, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues that may arise.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
  • Assist with other duties as needed, including warehouse tasks and inventory management.

Skills & Experience

  • Valid HR licence.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a truck driver, preferably in the transport industry & an understanding of 'Chain of Responsibility'.
  • A strong commitment to safety & ability to perform without direct day-to-day supervision.
  • High Risk Forklift licence (desirable)
  • Understanding of the tyre industry (desirable)
