Job Description for OKTA Architect:

Job Location: Brisbane

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategy

Design and maintain the enterprise IAM architecture leveraging the Okta Identity Cloud platform.

Define IAM strategies and roadmaps aligned with FCTG's security policies, compliance needs (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2), and digital transformation goals.

Lead Okta tenant design (production, test/dev) with best practices around scalability, reliability, and governance.

Solution Design & Implementation

Architect and oversee integration of Okta with FCTG applications, systems, and platforms including:

Microsoft 365 / Azure AD

G-Suite

Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow

AWS, GCP, on-prem systems

Implement and manage SSO and MFA across internal and customer-facing applications.

Design and implement Okta workflows for user lifecycle management (Joiner-Mover-Leaver).

Collaborate with DevSecOps and development teams to integrate Okta into CI/CD pipelines and modern applications (OIDC/OAuth2/SAML).

Security & Compliance

Ensure secure authentication and authorization design patterns are enforced.

Design access governance frameworks, role-based access controls (RBAC), and attribute-based access controls (ABAC).

Support compliance efforts through access audits, reporting, and integration with SIEM platforms.
