Working Hours:Monday 1pm-4pm, Tuesday 12pm-4pm, Wednesday 12pm-4pm & Thursday 12pm-4pm About Us: 

One Tree Defence Unit Puckapunyal located near Seymour in Regional Victoria, is committed to providing an enriching and nurturing environment where children thrive. We adhere to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), focusing on delivering high-quality educational programs that foster holistic development. We have placements for 86 children across our long day care. We have several rooms including pre kinder, nursery, toddler room, preschool and outside of school hours care. Our operating hours are 7 am to 6 pm.

You will be an assistant support educator in the Kindergarten Room. 

What you'll bring

  • Certificate III, Working towards Diploma or Diploma in Early childhood
  • Current working with Children check
  • National Police Check
  • Child protection training
  • Positive mindset
  • Great team player skills

What you'll do

  • You will be able to recognise and develop the strengths in children and your team
  • You will be able to build positive relationships with peers, families, and children
  • You will have a strong understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Experience working with children with behavioural support needs
  • Be calm and responsive to children's individual needs
