Licensed Electrician Night Shift DIDO Work

Elite Resource is chasing licensed electricians for night shift maintenance work at the Western Downs Solar Farm, near Chinchilla. This is the first of multiple swings, with strong rates and full LAHA coverage.
Project Details
- Location: Near Chinchilla
- Accommodation: Provided in Chinchilla – includes meals
- Dates: Monday 13 October (6pm start)
- Roster: 10:4 swing 10.5 hour shifts Night shift only
Pay Rates
- $60/hr – Normal time
- $75/hr – OT1
- $105/hr – OT2
- LAHA: Accommodation and meals provided by site
Pay Breakdown per Night Shift:
8 hours @ $75/hr (OT1): $600
- 2.5 hours @ $105/hr (OT2): $262.50
- Total per night: $862.50
Total for 10 nights:
- $862.50 × 10 = $8,625
LAHA (Accommodation & Meals):
- Up to $170/day × 10 = $1,700 (non-cash benefit)
Total Gross Value (including LAHA):
- $10,325
Scope of Work
- Maintenance of String Combiner Boxes (SCBs)
- Visual inspections, torque checks, voltage testing, fuse replacements
- Compliance with AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 5033, and site safety protocols
- Completion of maintenance checklists and QA documentation
Requirements
- Current electrical licence (QLD or nationally recognised)
- Solar farm or large-scale infrastructure experience preferred
- Night shift ready and reliable
- Own PPE and transport
- LVR CPR
- White Card
- Undertake drug and alcohol test
