A Peek Into Your Petstock Day
- Provide outstanding grooming services
- Support the Senior Groomer in completing daily grooming tasks
- Bathe and brush dogs prior to grooming
- Assist store shop floor team when required, providing exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
- Assist with the coordination of customer bookings in the grooming salon
- Ensure the appropriate handling and safe transfer of animals within the store
- Work with the team to achieve and exceed set sales goals
- Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team
Do you have the below experience and looking to take the next step in your career?
- A passion for animals and providing the best customer service
- Confident being around animals as you will be exposed to dogs with lots of different personalities
- Motivated to take that next step in your career and willing to work hard to become the best Groomer you can be
- A relevant qualification is preferred but not essential - as long as you bring a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn
- Experience in a similar environment
- Our dog customers come in all shapes, sizes and weight, so you will need to be physically fit and have a good understanding of dog behaviours to ensure all interactions are safe for you and your customers
- Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales target
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the team
- Physically fit, with ability to lift products and animals up to 20kgs
- Flexibility and ability to work weekends and public holidays
