Educator (Gloucester)

Active OOSH (Out Of School Hours) is not your average OOSH provider We're all about movement, connection and community. We are passionate about providing high-quality care and education to primary school-aged children in a fun, safe and active environment.

We are seeking Educators for our service in Gloucester. If you love interacting with children aged 5-12 years, working with a team, and making an impact in the community, we want to hear from you

An Educator will bring their skills and experience to make sure that every child looks forward to OOSH and feels welcome, supported and cared for. Our services have multiple indoor and outdoor activities and dedicated spaces where kids can play, create, explore, relax and have fun

We offer flexible shifts, great rates, and a supportive work environment

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure children are in a safe and engaging learning environment;
• Provide assistance to the Coordinator around service tasks and daily checklists;
• Assist with service set-up and pack-down and other tasks to contribute to a smooth-running service;
• Communicate with parents, caregivers and the school community (if/when required).

• A current (paid) NSW Working With Children Check is required, or be willing to obtain.
• Qualifications in Child Care First Aid, CPR and Child Protection are not essential but will be highly regarded.
