Inventory Planner

Lenan Corporation is one of Australia's leading Wholesale Distributors of retail products to Pharmacy, Health & Beauty and Speciality retailers. Based in Berrinba, south of Brisbane, we have a 30-year history of providing market-leading service to over 3000 customers across Australia.

We are seeking a candidate to join our Administration Team as a full-time Inventory Supply Planner and Analyst. Reporting to the General Manager and Merchandise Manager in a small, close-knit team, this role's primary function is to maintain the supply of the Lenan range. You will draw upon your strong analytical and data skills to ensure exceptional supply performance.

This role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

• Formulation and placement of replenishment orders for all local and international suppliers with a view to optimise stock availability.
• Monitoring supplier performance and delivery timeframes to ensure timely supply of goods
• Processing receiving documents and ERP entry
• Formulation of inhouse production orders
• Maintenance of the purchasing data file including the addition of new ranged items, price updating, maintenance of trading terms and order rosters
• Forecasting demand in response to seasonal variances and promotional activities
• Create and analyse reports relating to the performance of suppliers, ranges and sales (GMROI, Stock Turns, GP etc.) and providing recommendations to the Senior Management Team
• Create ad-hoc reports relating to general business performance

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, gained from years (min. 2) of experience in purchasing, inventory and supply
• Strong written communication and skills and a familiarity with business negotiations
• A keenly developed ability to interpret and analyse large data sets using advanced Excel functions.
• Exposure to and understanding of international supply chains and logistics
• An organised and structured approach to work

Comprehensive training, onboarding and ongoing support will be provided by the current planners with the possibility of hybrid work arrangements once training completed.
