Property Works Project Officer

About The Role:
As the Property Works Project Officer, you will play a key role in delivering small capital works and planned maintenance projects. You will manage contractor engagement, procurement, and compliance, ensuring works meet service levels, timelines, and quality standards. Success in this role means coordinating projects end-to-end, maintaining accurate property and asset records, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and efficiency.
About You:
You have experience coordinating building maintenance, construction, or minor capital works projects.
- You are confident in managing contractors, procurement processes, and budget tracking.
- You are an effective problem-solver, able to assess issues, identify practical solutions, and make sound decisions.
- You can interpret building plans, regulations, and codes, and apply compliance standards.
- You have strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- You demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and corporate systems for property and asset management.
- You hold qualifications applicable or transferable to this role.

The Detail:
The position is offered on a full-time fixed-term basis until 13 October 2028 and is classified at Level 5, with a starting salary of $103,798 per annum + Super + Annual Leave Loading.
