About the Opportunity:

We're looking for a Radiographer to join our team in Canberra, our clinics offer a comprehensive range of services, including MRI, CT, PET-CT, dental imaging, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, BMD, NLCSP and X-ray.

Our clinics are proud to offer state-of-the-art imaging technology to ensure the highest quality of care. We are equipped with advanced Canon and Siemens CT scanners, renowned for their precision and reliability. Additionally, our clinics feature cutting-edge X-ray systems from Agfa, Philips, and Shimadzu, enabling us to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging across a wide range of clinical needs. This investment in the latest technology reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and supporting our radiographers with the best tools available.

This is a Permanent part-time, role, with rostered hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate patient care, prioritising patient welfare and confidentiality.
• Interpret radiological requests and perform procedures in compliance with legislation and departmental policies.
• Maintain optimal image quality and ensure examinations deliver diagnostic information relevant to clinic requirements.

Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques and advancements

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will bring: 

• Prior experience as a Radiographer in General X-Ray & CT
• Experience performing CT scans with both contrast and non-contrast protocols
• Experience in Mammography (Desirable)
• Experience in Cardiac Imaging (Desirable)
• Hold the appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography and will have a current AHPRA Registration and ACT Radiation Use License.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to high-quality patient-centred care.
