Your responsibilities will include:
Take the lead in shaping high-quality Technical Publications that support the groundbreaking SouthPAN program. You'll develop, update, and enhance Operator and Maintenance documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance. Collaborate with ILS teams and project stakeholders to deliver world-class authoring solutions that evolve with customer needs.
About you:
You're a passionate Technical Author who thrives on turning complex engineering concepts into clear, engaging content bringing:
- Proven experience developing and editing Operator and Maintenance Manuals including creating own graphics.
- Hands-on skills with MS Office, Corel Designer, and/or Adobe Creative Suite for IETM development.
- Experience in engineering or maintenance environments — defence experience a plus
- Knowledge of DEF(AUST) ILS documentation standards.
- A talent for simplifying complexity and communicating with impact.
- Awareness of configuration and change management principles.
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
