About Us:

Precision Fire Protection Service's is a leading provider of fire protection services, specialising in the installation and servicing of complex fire safety systems across Tier One construction and infrastructure sectors. We're seeking a confident Minor Works Project Manager to join our Minor Works team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detailed project programming and control and managing project progress and performance
  • Variation and contract negotiations
  • Response for the financial performance of the projects
  • Design Management
  • Build long-term positive client relationships
  • Managing onsite subcontractors, trades and labour requirements
  • Managing defect rectification
  • Mentoring and coaching Junior Project Managers and Site teams
  • Establishing and ensuring compliance with all relevant WHS requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the fire protection industry
  • Experience with both Wet Fire and Dry Fire is highly desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of the Australian Standards relevant to the fire protection industry
  • Highly developed operational project management skills
  • Experience in handling competing priorities
  • Experience with project cost estimating and budgeting
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trusting and respectful relationships at all levels
  • Experience in providing direction, feedback and coaching to a team
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex activities/risks and/or information to provide innovative solutions
  • Ability to manage and oversee a wide range of projects and to adapt to unique and challenging environments
  • A strong desire to accept a challenge and deliver results
