This is a full-time, permanent position based in Perth, offering the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies while solving real-world infrastructure challenges.
The role requires you to be onsite in Perth. You must have working rights in Australia to be eligible for the position.
What You'll Do
- Manage and optimise server environments across staging and production, with a focus on Docker-based infrastructure
- Lead server migration and container orchestration projects (Docker / Kubernetes)
- Configure and maintain networking, load balancing, and firewall rules to ensure high availability and security
- Implement cloud security best practices and compliance measures
- Build and maintain automated monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive issue resolution
- Analyse server logs, diagnose root causes, and troubleshoot complex issues
- Roll up your sleeves and get hands-on to fix problems quickly and effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost system stability and performance
What You Bring
- 5+ years managing servers and cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS)
- Strong Docker skills; familiarity with Kubernetes
- Deep Linux administration knowledge, including shell scripting and system tuning
- Proven ability to analyse logs and identify root causes of issues
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to fixing issues in production
- Expertise in network protocols, DNS, VPNs, and routing
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and security tools
- (Optional) Backend development experience in any language
You must have working rights in Australia to be eligible for this position.
