About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Cincotta Discount Chemist Auburn in Auburn, NSW 2144. This is a full-time position, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the daily operations of our pharmacy.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting customers with their pharmaceutical and healthcare needs, including processing prescriptions, over-the-counter sales, and providing product information and advice
  • Maintaining accurate inventory and stock control, ensuring the pharmacy is well-stocked and organised
  • Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and general office duties to support the smooth running of the pharmacy
  • Collaborating with the pharmacy team to deliver a high standard of customer care and ensure efficient workflows
  • Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer-facing role within the healthcare or retail industry
  • Minimum 6 months' experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or 1+ years in customer-facing healthcare/retail roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • A passion for healthcare and a commitment to providing the best possible care to our customers
  • A team player who is flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the business
  • Current Pharmacy Assistant qualifications or a willingness to obtain relevant training
  • Certificate II or III in Community Services (Pharmacy Assistant) or S2 & S3 training completed
  • Right to live and work in Australia
