We are looking for a qualified industrial instrumentation fitter with more than three years of relevant work experience and is familiar with the working principles and debugging of flow meters, liquid level transmitters and flow control valves. Basic English communication skills required. Smithfield location.

$110, includes: base salary, over time and on-call pay

  • Weekday shifts

A market remuneration will be rewarded to the right candidate.

Tasks & responsibilities:

Improve and sustain instrumentation reliability, duties include but are not restricted to:

  • Control circuit troubleshooting & repair
  • Troubleshoot & repair flow meters, liquid level transmitters and all type of control valves
  • Conduit & wire installation
  • Instrumentation transmitters & control valve calibration
  • Troubleshooting replacements & repair
  • Follow electrical safe practices

Qualities & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience as an industrial instrumentation
  • Valid work visa or Australian work authorisation required
  • Flexibility for on-call and emergency works independently where required
  • Availability for monthly rotation on-call duties is required
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Ability to prepare written reports as part of communication requirements
  • Strong emphasis on safety and hazard recognition
  • Hard worker
