We take pride in innovation through designing, constructing, building, maintaining and operating our own crushing and screening plants for Tier 1 mining sites.
About The Role
We are looking for a CO Crane Operator to join the Destec team.
In this position, your primary responsibility will be serving as the primary Crane Operator for all necessary tasks. We currently have two cranes, Grove GMK6220L & GMK6300L as well as various Franna cranes. Ideally, we are seeking an individual who not only excels in crane operations but also possesses the capability to drive a MC Truck.
In this role you will be required to transport the crane to various locations as needed and, when necessary, undertake truck driving responsibilities for on-site deliveries. This role requires someone who is flexible and happy to assist other areas of the business when no crane work is scheduled.
The role will predominately be FIFO working on a 2:1 roster, and when not required on site will be based from our Bibra Lake depot.
Requirements
- CO Crane Ticket
- Proven experience operating 200/300t Cranes. (Preferrable Grove experience)
- MC Drivers Licence & experience driving road trains, floats (drake trailer experience highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Ability to adapt to various work environments and project requirements.
- RTIO Inductions are highly desirable.
