About the Role

My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Qualitative Researcher
to join their growing insights and strategy team. Acting as 2iC to the Head of Qual & Brand Strategy, this role is ideal for a researcher with up to 10 years of agency experience who is ready to take on greater leadership responsibility.

You'll be responsible for leading and delivering end-to-end qualitative research projects across a range of industries, with a particular focus on financial services, insurance, and retail. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about human behaviour, storytelling, and uncovering insights that influence strategy and brand direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead qualitative research projects from brief to delivery, including design, moderation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting actionable insights that influence strategic decision-making.
  • Support and collaborate closely with the Head of Qual & Brand Strategy, stepping up to lead team initiatives when required.
  • Stay up to date with qualitative methodologies, trends, and industry innovations, integrating them into client solutions.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered at the highest standard.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to account growth and business development opportunities.

About You

  • Up to 10 years of qualitative research experience within a market research, brand strategy, or insights agency.
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end project management across qualitative research studies.
  • Preferred experience working with financial services, insurance, and retail clients.
  • Skilled in a range of qualitative methods (focus groups, IDIs, ethnography, online communities, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, with a passion for bringing consumer insights to life.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • A team player with strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset.
