IMMEDIATE START - EMAK Communications & Civils Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated company in Townsville. Due to an increase in works we have various positions available in Townsville and surrounding areas.

About the roles:

Positions are open to people who have experience in any of the following civil construction areas or are keen to learn:

  • Pit & Pipe Installers / Labourers / Cable Haulers
  • Assisting Directional Drilling Crew
  • Excavator / Skid Steer Operation
  • Hydro Vacuum Truck Operation

Positions can involve travel to regional areas around North Qld as required but is compensated accordingly. Opportunity to gain experience and skills operating Horizontal Directional Drill equipment if interested.

A HR Licence is essential for some roles or the ability to obtain within probationary period.

These positions are Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week + overtime and travel where required. Opportunities for overtime available. General hours of work are 7:00am to 3:30pm. Both casual and permanent positions available.

To be successful for these roles it is preferred you possess the following skills and attributes:

  • HR / MR Licence
  • Construction induction card (white card)
  • First Aid / CPR
  • Physically fit for relevant duties
  • Must be able to pass Drug & Alcohol test if requested
  • Must be able to pass Police check if requested
  • Civil construction experience is highly regarded
  • Ability to take direction from management
  • Reliable & Punctual
  • Work well within a team environment
  • Some mechanical knowledge
  • Training can be provided for the right candidates but experience preferred.
  • Remuneration based on experience.
