Belgravia Apparel is proud to be an Australian owned Sportswear and Schoolwear manufacturer based in Mawson Lakes Technology Park.

We manufacture high quality sportswear in-house for sports clubs and associations across Australia.

We are also the Elite Sports Teams licencee for New Balance in Australia and New Zealand and our customers include leading AFL clubs Melbourne Football Club, St Kilda Football Club, the Gold Coast Suns Football Club, plus other leading sports teams.

We are recruiting for a Sublimation Pre-Press Graphic Artist to support a rapid period of growth.

Experience in the use of Corel and Adobe Suiteprograms is preferred.

This position is a fulltime, permanent 38 hour per week position which will offer an attractive wage for the right person. This position entails the following responsibilities but is not limited to:

Core Responsibility:

Reporting to our Sublimation Print Manager.

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for bringing our designs to life with the prepress art.

Specific responsibilities

  • Layout, design and assembly of artwork. Following pre-approved artwork.
  • Ensuring accurate sublimated sportswear helping to maintain our high quality. Including names and numbers.
  • Trouble shooting and fixing files to ensure print readiness.
  • Managing workflow for a busy sublimation production line maintaining job press schedules.
  • Operating wide format dye-sublimation print machines is preferable but not essential.
  • Following quality control guidelines.

About You:

  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
  • Understand the importance of deadlines.
  • A high attention to detail, eagerness to learn and good communication skills are a must.
  • Formal / Tertiary qualifications with experience in pre-press and/or graphic design is an advantage
  • Knowledge of printing processes is an advantage, but not essential
  • Proven ability in accepting direction and completing assigned work accurately and on time with attention to detail
  • Previous experience with wide format printers is desirable but not essential.
