Thor's Hammer is looking for a skilled Joiner / Cabinetmaker who loves working with solid timber and has the drive to keep a team running productively and efficiently.

You'll be leading a small crew of 2–3 cabinetmakers & apprentices. Your role is to keep jobs moving smoothly, make sure quality standards are met, and help the team work smarter, not harder. You'll have the support of our Joinery Manager, so you can focus on getting the best out of the workshop.

We're after someone who:

  • Has a trade qualification in cabinetmaking (or equivalent) with full rights to work in Australia
  • Brings at least 3 years' experience working with solid timber in a production environment
  • Knows how to balance quality with efficiency – hitting deadlines without cutting corners
  • Is confident with both hand tools and machines, with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ideally has some CNC experience (handy but not essential)
  • Has experience guiding or training others, and keeping a small team on track
  • Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
