We are looking for a Casual/Part-time Dental Assistant to join our well-established practice. The Role

We're offering 4–5 days per week, 7:30am and 5:30pm.

You must be available Monday to Thursday, with flexibility on additional days when needed - no weekends or late nights.

The position is casual initially, with regular hours and a view to a permanent role for the right candidate.

You'll be assisting with:

  • Chairside support during a range of dental procedures
  • Patient care and instrument sterilisation
  • Managing instruments, materials, and infection control
  • Candidates be familiar with basic sterilisation protocols and infection control
  • Supporting the team with general clinic duties

Knowledge of Exact software, Word and good typing skills an advantage/

What We're Looking For

  • Previous dental assisting experience is essential (minimum 6 months)

  • Experience in any dental setting is required for this position

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting (an advantage, but not essential)

  • Someone punctual, professional, and team-oriented
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working with patients and colleagues
  • Able to take initiative, stay calm under pressure, and pitch in wherever needed
  • Australian work rights required
