Our Client
Offering a wide range of Freight Forwarding & Logistics services, including airfreight, seafreight, distribution and warehousing, this well established company is looking for a store person.
The Position
Warehouse Operator with 1+ years experience working in a store person role. Are you ambitious and a "go getter", training is offered in this autonomous role.
Responsibilities
- Checking stock in and out
- Loading & unloading of containers
- Storing and releasing cargo in accordance with customs procedures
- Pick and pack and order distribution, arrange storage of cargo
- Reporting of damaged cargo where required
- Assist truck drivers with pick up of cargo
- Communication with customers
- Create out-turn reports
What we're looking for
- Current forklift licence & drivers licence is essential
- Warehouse experience 1+ years
- Good computer skills, great communication skills and ability to liaise with a wide range of people
- Cargowise experience highly regarded but not essential
- Ability to work towards achieving KPI's
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Full working rights with the Australian market
