Full job description

Football Star Academy is looking for candidates to join our expanding team. We are looking for someone with a passion to coach and ideally a long-term interest.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Experience coaching soccer to junior players
  • Car and valid drivers license
  • Valid Working with Children Check (WWC)
  • A positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • SHOULD be located near Melton VIC
  • Understands child development principles and age-appropriate coaching techniques, ensuring that training sessions are suitable for the physical development of young players.

Essential Requirements:

  • National Police / Criminal History Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Drivers License

Responsibilities:

  • Arranging equipment ahead of practice
  • Conducting practice sessions to develop players' skills, tactics, and physical fitness.
  • Communicating effectively with players, parents, and other staff
  • Run training sessions with a high level of patience, essential for effectively interacting with children and their parents, as well as creating a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
  • Ensuring player safety during training and games, including addressing injuries and managing risk.
  • Early morning start on weekends, lunchtime and after school sessions.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $27.93 – $39.90 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Melton VIC 3337: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
