Marina Attendants

Our business in Brooklyn on the Hawkesbury River is seeking a Marina Hand to join our team.

We have a hire fleet of Tinnies, BBQ boats and Houseboats

The Marina operates and Maintains 28 Moorings and 42 Berths, also providing slipway services including antifouling of vessels.

The Position:

You will perform the following duties as required:

• Clean hire boats, houseboats, vehicles and general yard cleaning
• Instruct hirers on the use of hire boats and houseboats
• Rubbish and recycling removal
• Instruct safety procedures
• Assist with retail sales of confectionary and miscellaneous parts
• Give customer assistance
• Fuel up vessels
• Drive customers to their vessel on a mooring
• Check and splice ropes
• Call outs to our vessels (boat licence required)
• Assist children to fit lifejackets
• General maintenance of garden and grounds
• General maintenance on marina and moorings
• Slipway services
• We may also assign you other duties, where reasonable for your position, training and experience.

About you:

• Genuine interest in the Marine industry.
• Reliable team player who can work independently, has a can-do attitude and takes pride in what they do.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Great communication/customer service skills.
• Car and Boat licences preferable or willing to obtain.
• Possess a strong commitment to quality
• Be Neat and Tidy in all aspects of work
