The Role – Principal Dentist
We are seeking an experienced, motivated Principal Dentist with a strong focus on cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
The role will begin with Saturday mornings plus one weekday, with scope to expand as the patient base continues to grow. This is a rare succession opportunity, where the successful candidate will gradually transition to become the lead dentist of the practice as one of our senior clinicians reduces their clinical time.
Our senior dentist currently refers out certain procedures, creating an opportunity for the right candidate to expand the scope of services offered in-house.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality cosmetic and restorative dentistry, with a focus on:
Composite and porcelain veneers
Crown and bridge work
Offer general dentistry services to support patient needs
- Take on procedures currently referred out to external specialists (where within your scope)
- Lead clinical decision-making with professional autonomy
- Build strong, long-term relationships with patients
- Support recall and patient retention strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records using Core Practice
- Collaborate with the hygienist and team for seamless care
About You
- Current AHPRA registration
At least five years of Clinical experience with proven skills in:
Cosmetic and restorative dentistry
- Composite and porcelain veneers
- Crown and bridge work
- Excellent communication and rapport-building with patients
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, ethical dentistry
- Interest in CPD and long-term career growth
