The role:

Director of Nursing (FM) – Exceptional Leadership Opportunity

Are you a passionate leader ready to make a real impact in aged care? We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing/Facility Manager to join an independent, not-for-profit residential aged care provider.

This is a rare opportunity to report directly to the CEO and work closely on strategic initiatives, including projects around a new model of care and workplace training. You will be supported by:

  • A Business Manager and Operations Team, leaving financial and operational management in capable hands.
  • A large, dedicated clinical team, including 2 Care Managers, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional resident and staff outcomes.
  • A Service Manager overseeing all ancillary services, freeing you to concentrate on care quality.

With accreditation due mid-2026, you'll lead a strong, supportive clinical team in a home that's running smoothly and fully compliant, giving you the opportunity to focus on care excellence rather than remediation.

What we are looking for:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Div 1 Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years in a Management role within the age care sector
  • Has a thorough understanding of aged care processes, legislative requirements, and best-practice standards
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a focus on developing staff potential, fostering responsibility, and driving high-quality care outcomes
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment with direct CEO access.
  • A leader who wants to make a tangible difference in the lives of residents while advancing innovative models of care.
