The Opportunity

Join our home care team in providing coverage of Domestic Assistant services for our clients throughout Melbourne Metro.

  • Monday to Friday (no weekends)
  • Weekly pay (every Friday)

About the Role

As a casual Domestic Assistant, you will be required to travel to multiple clients' homes throughout the day to provide basic household services. 

  • Domestic Assistants are responsible for ensuring that the service recipients homes are kept in a clean, hygienic, and homely condition according to the individual's needs and wishes.
  • Key tasks include: vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the bathroom and toilet, bed-making, dishwashing, laundry, ironing, hanging clothes out, assistance with meal preparation, and unaccompanied shopping. 
About You

Key capabilities of this position include:

  • Previous domestic cleaning experience
  • Ability to drive to and from suburbs throughout Melbourne Metro
  • Can work casually, attending 1-3 hour shifts per client throughout the day and week
  • Understanding and willingness to support the elderly and people with a disability

Required:

  • Must have your own reliable smartphone to access and use AlayaCare App (work roster)
  • An unrestricted Australian Driver's License and your vehicle 
  • Current National Police Check (obtained within last 12 months)
  • Current Working with Children's Check (Employee Type)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
