Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Archa Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Archa is on a mission to build the ultimate financial platform for modern companies, eliminating the friction of expense management so finance teams and owners can focus on what they do best: growing their business. Hundreds of Australia's most innovative startups and leading national brands already trust us to power their corporate cards and spending.

We're backed by some of the country's sharpest investors and fintech leaders, but our biggest asset is our people. We are building a world-class team of ambitious, collaborative, and passionate individuals who are energised by solving complex problems.

We believe the future of finance is strategic, not administrative. This is your chance to help build the intelligent, integrated platform that high-performing finance teams have been waiting for. We are scaling rapidly, and to fuel this next chapter, we're looking for pivotal team members who want to build, innovate, and grow with us.

The opportunity

The finance function at Archa is core to our strategic decision-making and sustainable growth. We're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to build out our finance function as we scale. You'll be joining a fast-moving team and will be involved in all aspects of the company's financial health.

Based in our Melbourne office, you will be a key player in our team. You'll drive our financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, and ensure we maintain robust financial controls and compliance. You will also provide invaluable data-driven insights to our Leadership, Product, and Operations teams to support strategic initiatives and ensure we continue to offer our customers the best possible experience.

This is a truly unique role suited to someone who wants to get their hands dirty, build processes from the ground up, and have a real impact in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • You are CA qualified (or working towards qualification).
  • You have 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally with experience in a high-growth startup or technology company.
  • You have strong technical accounting knowledge (AASB/IFRS) and experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You are a proactive self-starter with high-energy levels, comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively across the business.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can translate complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders.
  • You have experience with Xero and are comfortable improving and implementing new systems and processes.
  • You thrive when prioritising between multiple important issues and have the ability to anticipate challenges before they arise.

We're happy to consider applicants more senior, more junior, or who otherwise don't perfectly fit the above description. If that's you, don't hesitate to reach out with some insight as to why we should chat anyway.

Get in touch by emailing your CV / some background on why you're interested to

Looking forward to hearing from you.
