About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Nurse Unit Manager to lead compassionate cancer care within our new purpose built North Eastern Cancer Centre located at Modbury Hospital.

As Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee clinical operations, staff development and quality improvement initiatives within our state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility. You will lead a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care whilst ensuring optimal clinical outcomes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • provide clinical and operational leadership across the cancer care unit
  • manage nursing staff performance, rostering and professional development
  • ensure compliance with clinical governance and safety standards
  • collaborate with medical teams, allied health professionals and support services
  • drive continuous improvement initiatives and quality patient outcomes
  • mentor and support nursing staff in specialised cancer care practices

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
