About The Colebatch Aggregation
Located between Meningie and Tintinara in South Australia's southeast, the Colebatch aggregation covers 6,259 hectares, with more than 5,000 hectares dedicated to grain and hay cropping, including canola, barley, wheat, and oats.
Since 2023, Colebatch has undergone significant transformation - from soil improvement and paddock upgrades to the ongoing development of a 10,400 mt grain storage facility due to come online ahead of the 2026 harvest.
At Colebatch, we focus on optimising land use and improving soil health through targeted amelioration and precision agriculture, incorporating subsoil clay at varying depths to restore soil structure and productivity. The result is a property that combines innovation, sustainability, and long-term profitability

- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and operational reports for the aggregation.
- Oversee the use, care, and maintenance of fixed and mobile assets, including a modern John Deere fleet.
- Drive soil transformation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance land productivity and sustainability.
- Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental, and workplace regulations.
- Collaborate with agronomists, contractors, and the Faulkner Support Office to optimise outcomes and share best practices.
- Represent the aggregation to local communities, contractors, and stakeholders.
About You
- Proven experience managing medium to large-scale dryland or mixed-farming operations.
- Strong operational and technical knowledge across cropping systems, machinery management, and land transformation.
- A hands-on leader who can coach, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Financially literate with proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using precision agriculture systems and farm management software.
- Passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainable farming.
- Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Agronomy, or Farm Management are desirable - but your practical results will speak for themselves.
