Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Veterinarian located in Emerald, VIC. The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, administering medications, and advising pet owners on proper pet care and preventive measures. Day-to-day tasks also include conducting health check-ups, maintaining detailed medical records, and collaborating with veterinary technicians and support staff for efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Diagnostics, and Surgery skills
• Experience in Animal Care, Preventive Care, and Client Communication
• Strong Medical Record Keeping and Administrative Skills
• Compassionate and empathetic with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent, and licensure to practice in the state of Victoria
• Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred
