About the Role

We're searching for a tradesperson with cabinetmaking qualifications and experience to join our team at our Brendale factory. Some key responsibilities and tasks for this role are:

  • Reading and interpreting drawings and plans.
  • Preparation of panels & components ready for assembly.
  • Assemble joinery items in line with plans.
  • Test fit all joinery items to identify any potential issues.
  • Label all joinery and components in a manner that will allow easy assembly onsite.
  • Assist with training of Apprentices when directed.
  • Always maintain a high level of quality.
  • Work within set timeframes.

This is a full-time permanent role and hourly rate will be consummate with your skills and experience.

This role is factory based - (no site work)

About You

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of maturity and proactive work habits to the role. Here's what we're looking for:

  • A friendly, positive and can-do attitude.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • A Certificate III in Cabinet Making.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in similar environment or trade.
  • Experience with all hand tools and static machinery.
  • Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.
  • Strive for, and achieve, the highest quality standards.
  • Adherence to all HSE guidelines.
