THE ROLE:
Plan & Schedule: Revision of drawings, with a keen eye for detail. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of civil projects
Project Management:Daily site inspections, liaising with subcontractors and foremen. Procurement of goods and services necessary to complete a project. Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work is completed on time and to specification. Support project reporting, documentation, and cost tracking.
Safety: Safe Work Method Statements, revision and approval, ensure all site activities comply to company safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures. Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and risk assessments and drive a strong safety culture on-site
Site Management: Supervise daily site activities.
Technical Support: Provide expertise and ensure material use efficiency.
Quality Control: Conduct inspections and maintain documentation.
Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce safety procedures on-site.
Progress Monitoring: Track and report construction progress.
Problem-Solving: Address and escalate technical or logistical issues.
HOW YOU'LL CONNECT TO THE ROLE:
Personal:Sound communication and problem-solving skills. A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively in site-based environments. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:No experience required, FRP and Precast concrete experience will be looked on favourably
What will make you stand out:Experience working within key regional sectors such as agriculture, land management, or community services
Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
