Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to oversee the gatehouse operations at our client site in Bathurst. This role involves regular face-to-face interactions with contractors, truck drivers, and couriers, requiring excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to enforce site entry protocols.

This is a Permanent Part-Time position based at our client site in Bathurst.  You will work an average of 32-38 hours per week across various shifts scheduled over a 6-week period.

Weekly Rostered Hours:

  • Week 1: Tues, Weds - 6:00 am – 1800 = 36hrs

  • Week 2: Mon, Tues, Weds - 6:00 am – 1800 = 24hrs

  • Week 3: Mon, Tues 6:00 am – 1800, Sat and Sun - 6am – 6pm = 60hrs 

What We're Looking For:

  • A valid security license for NSW and a current first aid certificate.

  • Experience managing gatehouse security operations, including data entry, maintaining spreadsheets.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage deliveries, perform data entry, and ensure strict compliance with site protocols.

  • Confidence in observing, reporting, and responding to incidents effectively.

  • Previous experience with gatehouse and weighbridge operations is preferred.
