What you'll do?
Rural Finance Specialists form part of the Region Finance Team, who provide valuable payment solution options to clients, enabling growth of branch portfolios and ultimately helping local farmers maintain and grow their business. Rural Finance Specialists also provide product knowledge and relationship support to the Nutrien Ag Solutions network. The territory you will service has an established, diverse portfolio financing most major cropping and livestock systems with ample opportunity for further growth. In this role you will be responsible for branch applications and requests for servicing and delivering our finance products to the SME farming segment of the portfolio. You will oversee all parts of the process from liaising with clients and risk assessment to facility set up, ensuring quality data is collected and appropriate risk analysis in Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF), Know Your Customer (KYC).
Working in a high-volume environment, other responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Branch Managers and staff to deliver on customer finance requirements
- Being a product champion to promote the benefits of the finance products to the network
- Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure an enhanced customer experience with Nutrien.
What will you bring:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone that is passionate about agriculture and looking to their next step. You will have previous field sales experience, strong communication and customer relationship skills and are expected to have a high level of engagement within your territory and portfolio.
- A strong background in Account Management and Business Development
- Able to deliver a high level of profitable growth
- Be able to collaborate with branch managers and staff to manage stakeholder expectations
- Experience selling finance productucs is highly regarded
