LR Driver

About the role Above Scaffolding Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced LR or MR Driver to join our team in Smithfield, NSW. As our Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods throughout the local area. This is a full-time position, offering competitive pay and benefits. We have significant contracts in Garden Island, SHB as well as Tier 1 construction sites around the CBD with occasional runs to rural areas.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate a light rigid (LR) manual vehicle to transport to Sydney CBD and surrounding areas
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring on-time and damage-free deliveries
• Collaborate with the logistics team to optimise operations and address any issues

What we're looking for

• Valid LR or MR driver's licence with a clean driving record
• At least 2 years' experience driving medium rigid vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Must have a White CARD
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of the local area and traffic conditions
• As some of our contract are with MOD and RMS a Police Check will be required
• Forklift licence or prepared for training to be given
