Role: Insurance Broker (Tier 1)

Salary range: $120k to $180K pa ( pending experience) + super

About the role

As an Insurance Broker (direct broker) at Duo Group, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive landlord insurance solutions to our valued clients. This full-time position is for a confident leader to be based in our Homebush, NSW office and offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team in the insurance industry.

What you'll be doing

• Engaging with clients to understand their unique landlord insurance requirements
• Guide the team in identifying the most appropriate insurance policies and providers
• Negotiating with insurers to secure the best possible coverage and terms
• Coaching and mentoring a growing team to provide exceptional customer service throughout the insurance placement process
• Maintaining strong relationships with company leaders and acting as their trusted adviser
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and product developments

What we're looking for

• Possess a Tier 1 accreditation in insurance
• Hold the qualification or willing to obtain a Diploma in Insurance Broking ( FNS51220)
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an Insurance Broker, ideally within the landlord insurance segment
• Excellent leader with communication and interpersonal skills, with a direct report to the CEO
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Demonstrated experience in using insurance broking software and systems
• Relevant insurance qualifications in line with the governing body ( ASIC Guide RG 146)
