About the role

At Alpha Solar & Electrical Pty Ltd, we are seeking a talented and motivated SAA Accredited GCPV + GCBS Electrician and 2x Electrical Apprentice/Solar Roofer to join our team. This full-time role presents an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the growing renewable energy and electrical services industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the installation and maintenance of solar PV + Battery systems, including panel placement, wiring, and connection to the grid
  • Providing support to qualified electricians with a range of electrical tasks, such as wiring, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Performing general labouring duties, including site preparation, tool and material handling, and clean-up
  • Continuously learning and developing your skills through on-the-job training and formal apprenticeship programs

What we're looking for

  • Strong interest and passion for renewable energy and electrical work
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow procedures
  • Eligibility to undertake an electrical apprenticeship program
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
  • Previous solar installation experience is required
  • Age requirements for electrical apprenticeship eligibility will be assessed on a case by case basis
