The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Leading Hand to join our maintenance team. This role is ideal for a skilled operator with their own ABN and who can deliver quality landscape maintenance services while taking a lead role on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out and oversee all aspects of landscape and garden maintenance, including:

  • Whipper snipping, mowing, and edging

  • Pruning and trimming of shrubs, hedges, and trees
  • Weed control and general garden tidy-ups
  • Lawn care, fertilising, and plant health management
  • Irrigation maintenance and minor repairs
  • Safe operation and maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Lead by example, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management to ensure smooth service delivery

Requirements

  • Proven experience in landscape and garden maintenance
  • Strong leadership and time management skills
  • Good plant knowledge and attention to detail
  • Experience operating and maintaining mowing and gardening equipment
  • Understanding of irrigation systems and repairs (preferred)
  • Current driver's licence [manual preferred] and reliable vehicle
  • ABN, insurance.
  • White Card and horticultural qualifications (advantageous but not essential)
