Baldivis Family Medical Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Dietician to join our team in Baldivis, Western Australia. As a Dietician, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional advice and support to our patients, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals. This is a crucial role within our healthcare practice, and you will play a key part in positively impacting the lives of our community.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments and developing personalised dietary plans for patients
  2. Providing one-on-one counselling and guidance to patients, educating them on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
  3. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
  4. Staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of nutrition and dietetics
  5. Contributing to the development and implementation of health promotion and disease prevention programs
  6. Maintaining detailed records and documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or a related field
  2. Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) registration with the Dietitians Association of Australia
  3. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dietician in a clinical or healthcare setting
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and motivate patients
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop tailored dietary plans
  6. Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations and best practices in the field of nutrition and dietetics
  7. Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends
