The Role

We're looking for a Technical Leading Hand to take ownership of heating installs and technical projects including pool pre plumbs, filtration relocations, support quoting and delivery, and help drive growth.

This is a hands-on senior role, reporting directly to the Director.

You'll be trusted to run jobs end to end, set the standard onsite, communicate with clients, manage junior installers and help the business scale.

This is not a sit-in-the-office role.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Pool Heating & Equipment Installs

• Attend pool heating enquiries and site inspections
• Assess the customer's needs and recommend the right solution
• Independently plan and execute pool heating installations to the Clarity standard
• Measure, sell and install acoustic boxes and other pool equipment

2. Quoting & Project Delivery

• Assist with pricing for large-scale projects (heating, equipment upgrades, plant rooms, etc.)
• Complete all necessary pre-quote site visits
• Plan installs, manage timelines, and make sure jobs are delivered on time, in budget and to spec
• Ensure projects are commissioned, invoiced and handed over professionally

3. Standards & Operations

• Keep vehicle stock, tools and install materials in order
• Update the CRM daily
• Maintain 100% customer satisfaction and 5-star communication
• Make sure every job meets compliance and industry standards
• Attend internal meetings and contribute to continuous improvement

4. Brand & Visibility

• Support social media activity (minimum 3 posts per week) to grow our audience to 600+ followers by EOFY
• Help capture quality before/after photos, installs, solutions, and wins on site
• Drive targeted Google reviews (5 x new 5-star reviews per quarter)

Work Schedule

• Minimum 5 days per week
• Availability for an additional day when required in peak season (September–December)
• Primarily onsite in the field
• Plus 2 weekend days per month (off Season) working in our South Coogee retail store (paid)

What Success Looks Like

You will be measured on:

• 100% customer satisfaction
• All installs delivered on time, to margin, and invoiced on completion
• Accurate quoting and smart planning to avoid rework
• Vehicle, tools, and stock always ready
• CRM updated daily
• Consistent social content and review generation
• Minimum 2 in-store weekend shifts per month completed (off season)

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years experience in pool heating, pool equipment, filtration, pumps, etc. (or similar trades experience with willingness to learn pool-heating specifics)
• Confident on the tools and confident speaking with customers
• Able to solve problems onsite without drama
• High personal presentation and pride in workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Can work independently and also support a small, high-performing team
• Comfortable using basic apps / CRM to track jobs and update notes
• Bonus: experience selling and quoting jobs
