ABM Landscaping is a Civil Construction and Landscaping Contractor delivering both hard and soft landscaping projects throughout Perth and surrounds.  We are seeking a Qualified Stone Mason and Skilled Masonry Labourers to join our growing team.

The Roles available include:

331111 Bricklayer/Blocklayer (Skill Level 3)

331112 Stonemason (Skill Level 3)

Experience should include:

• Studying plans and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and a strong knowledge of installation procedures
• Understanding of requirements for sealing foundations, spreading layers of mortar to serve as base and binder for blocks using trowels, pointing up.
• Laying bricks in rows, designs and shapes, and spreading mortar between joints
• Embedding blocks in mortar and removing excess mortar
• Checking vertical and horizontal alignment
• Cutting, and shaping bricks or blocks using machines and hand tools, and shaping bricks to fit irregular spaces
• Repairing and maintaining bricks, cement blocks and related structures
• Erecting and dismantling restricted height scaffolding is a bonus but not a requirement
• Experience with safety requirements, SWMS & JSAs
• Truck and Skid Steer or Loader experience would be an advantage
