JOB DETAILS 1 x Temporary Full - Time 36 Hours 4 days per week (2 -3 years) Salary - $31,408 to $49,469
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This traineeship is a full-time position within our Parks and Open space Services team. The successful candidate will work towards the completion of their Certificate III in Arboriculture. This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience developing practical skills in the maintenance and care of Council's parks, open space gardens and public trees. This role is offered as a traineeship and is open to new starters and continuing trainees in 1st year of the same qualification.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will have:
- Tree Maintenance.
- Parks and Garden Maintenance.
- Carry out works in accordance with the Work Health and Safety act and Parks Procedures.
- Comply with responsibilities relating to the terms of the Training Contract as an Apprentice (training attendance and attainment of competencies).
- Complete a qualification in Certificate III in Arboriculture while working in a full-time capacity.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.
