About The Role:

We're seeking an enthusiastic
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
to join our passionate team in a
full-time position
commencing September 2025. If you're ready to help children achieve their best, we want to hear from you

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with a strong focus on strength training and fun Experience can include non-clinical roles e.g., coaching kids, volunteering, and past jobs. Preference for candidates with hydrotherapy or swimming instructor backgrounds.

About Ocean Kids Health:

Ocean Kids Health is a state of the art Paediatric Physical Therapy service based in Seaford, VIC. We specialise in providing Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy services to children, within our two beautiful large clinics in Seaford and in the broader community, including parks, gyms and hydrotherapy pools.

We value each member of our team and have a strong focus on connection, empowering each-other and working together to get the best outcomes for our children. We collaborate via discipline supervision and in-house PD fortnightly onsite, where we all share ideas and develop our clinical skills.

We provide evidence based solutions to any movement problem for babies, toddlers and primary school aged children. We are all passionate and specialise in different areas of Paediatrics. Our therapy is unique, fun, results based and of high quality.

In this role, you will mostly see children with the following conditions:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Developmental Delay
  • Genetic Conditions
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Musculoskeletal and Sporting Injuries
  • Acquired Brain Injury
  • Developmental Coordination Disorder
  • Connective Tissue Disorders

The role will involve

  • Completing initial physical assessments and providing ongoing weekly therapy sessions with children aged 4-16.
  • Attending Hydrotherapy pool for 3 hour blocks of 1:1 sessions, 2-3 days per week.
  • Completing community based therapy sessions with children aged 4-12 years old at schools, kinder, parks and playgrounds.
  • Running Intensive Therapy programs -
    following extensive training.
  • Running various groups for children e.g., strength training, balance, sport skills, yoga.
  • Developing new programs and services in collaboration with Ocean Kids Health team members.

Position Requirements

  • Current ESSA Accreditation in Exercise Physiology
  • Working with Children's and Police Check
  • Australian drivers license and car
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance - Private sector
  • Experience is preferred, but we welcome exceptional new graduates to apply
  • Experience working with children is preferred
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and excellent communication skills
