Our client, a Local Government department is seeking labourers for a temporary contract until the end of December

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for supporting the team with a range of general labouring tasks, including:

  • Assisting with the laying of watermains and pipe installation
  • Undertaking labouring duties as directed/required
  • Maintaining a safe worksite and following workplace health and safety procedures
  • Supporting the team with equipment handling, basic site preparation, and housekeeping

Requirements:

  • White Card (construction induction).
  • C Class Driver's Licence.
  • Basic numeracy, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively, safely, and ethically under supervision.
  • Willingness to work on a physically demanding site and assist as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Reliable with a great work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

PPE Requirements:

  • Hi-vis long sleeve shirts.
  • Steel cap boots (no elastic-sided).
  • Broad-brimmed hat (no caps).
